    The Midult

If you have time to read that is….

    Mrs NKW

The Husbands Secret by Liane Moriarty

The Trouble with Goats and Sheep by Joanna Cannon. Set in 1976 and takes you right back to that hot, hot, crimplene 70s summer.

Edna O’Brien – The Little Red Chairs. Good but a bit disturbing.

The Visiting Privilege: Short stories by Joy Williams. Funny and haunting and perfect for short attention spans, ahem…

The Things I should have told you by Carmel Harrington, and The Truth About Goats and Sheep as previously mentioned.

The Paris Wife Paula McLain riveting especially for those living with a high achieving narcissist – painful at times but comforting to read the thoughts of someone else in your shoes. It’s about Ernst Hemingway’s first wife. Oh if I had my time again I would go for a man who knows how to handle …. a spirit level! 😳

Currently reading The Bees by Laline Paull, set in a beehive, weirdly believable and gripping. Also loved goats and sheep, took me right back to being ten years old. Angel Delight!

Out by Natsuo Kirino is fantastic if you like a gritty thriller. A tad gory in places but unputdownable.
